The Error Machine

The Error Machine is an experiment by BeAnotherLab that provides cross-modal errors from different sensorimotor modalities, thus tricking the contingencies that are generally provided by reality.

One example of this may be seeing the form of an apple but feeling a pear. Though this experiment plays with the idea of reality glitches in an artistic context it provides a wide scope of possibilities for research in multimodal perception and cross-modal modulations.

This is one of the early experiments by BeAnotherLab, but we are eager to continue exploring with this concept.
